海外インターンシップ説明会「国際協力編」が開催されました

2014年10月31日（金）と11月1日（土）、神戸大学大学院国際協力研究科棟にて、「International Education Development Forum（IEDF）2014」が開催されました。本年度のIEDFは神戸大学がホスト校となり、二日間を通じて80名以上の国内外の大学の教員・大学院生等の参加者が一同に集い、研究計画や研究成果を英語で発表し活発な議論が行われるなど、大成功を収めました。参加大学は、ソウル国立大学（韓国）、梨花女子大学（韓国）、香港大学(中国)、マケレレ大学（ウガンダ）、東京大学、早稲田大学、上智大学、名古屋大学、大阪大学、広島大学、そして神戸大学の計11校でした。
フォーラム一日目は開会式に続き、「ポスト2015における国際教育開発・協力」に焦点を当て、上記の大学の教員による研究成果発表を中心としたセミナーが開催されました。本セミナーは「ポスト2015の教育課題に関する最近の国際イニシアチブ」、「アセアンにおける国際教育開発」、「高等教育と革新的教育協力」の三部構成で、神戸大学大学院国際協力研究科が2014年4月より中核となり実施している日本学術振興会研究拠点形成事業（アジア・アフリカ学術基盤形成型）「アジア・アフリカにおける教育行財政研究と持続的な若手研究者の育成（コーディネータ：小川啓一教授）」の第3回目のセミナーとしても位置づけられていました。
上記のセミナーで、小川啓一教授とマケレレ大学講師のワカダラ・ジェームズ氏は、「ミャンマーにおける教員教育の分析－『SABER』の枠組みを用いて－」について、また、本研究室修了生で現在は世界銀行本部の教育専門官であられる荘所真理氏は「ポスト2015の教育課題と世界銀行の教育戦略」について発表をされました。またフォーラム一日目のセミナー後、本学のレストラン「さくら」にて行われた懇親会では、現在広島大学客員教授であられるバーネット・ニコラス氏による乾杯の挨拶に続き、神戸の地酒や郷土料理の入った食事をいただきながら、和やかな歓談や情報交換の時間が持たれました。
フォーラム二日目は、研究テーマに従って分けられた6つの部会に分かれて、大学院生をはじめとする若手研究者38人による研究計画・成果の口頭発表が行われました。小川研究室からは18名の大学院生と1名の修了生が英語での口頭発表を行い、それぞれの研究の精緻化に役立つ大変貴重なコメントやアドバイスをいただきました。
すべてのプログラムの最後に行われた閉会式では、ご参加いただいた全ての教員の先生方、各大学のコーディネータから本フォーラムについてのコメントが述べられ、フォーラム実行委員長の小川教授からの閉会の挨拶により、二日間のフォーラムの幕は閉じました。今年度のフォーラムに関して、発表者数が多かったことに加え、個々の発表の質が高く、質疑応答の時間に行われた議論が活発で、この質も高かったことについて評価するコメントが相次ぎました。
次回のIEDF2015は、早稲田大学にて開催される予定です。また、今回の大会における小川研究室からの口頭発表者名と発表タイトルは以下の通りです（アルファベット順）。
