第33回アフリカ教育学会で小川ゼミの学生が優秀研究発表賞を受賞しました

2024年4月6日（土）、4月7日（日）の2日間にわたり、東北大学にてアフリカ教育学会第33回大会が開催されました。本大会では、総勢30名以上の研究者及び実務者の口頭発表が行われました。神戸大学からは、１名の修了生、４名の博士後期課程の学生、７名の博士前期課程の学生が研究計画及び研究成果の発表を行いました。本大会では、2024年3月に博士前期課程を修了された島部惠子さんが「優秀研究発表賞」を受賞されました。島部さんの報告タイトルは、「An Analysis of Teachers’ Discipline on Pupils’ Academic Performance in Ugandan Primary Education: Case of Wakiso District」で、修士論文の内容をもとに研究成果の発表を行いました。

大会1日目は、本大会の実行委員長である東北大学の劉靖 (Jing Liu)先生による開会の辞で始まりました。また、「Sino-Africa Cooperation for Educational Development: History, New Trend, and Outlook for Sino-Japan Collaboration」と題された特別セッションでは、中国ユネスコ農村教育研究研修センター長のYuchi Zhao博士の基調講演の後、早稲田大学の黒田一雄先生が討論者としてコメントを述べられました。1日目の大会終了後には情報交換会が開催され、他大学から参加した学生、研究者、先生方と交流する貴重な機会をいただきました。
