第35回アフリカ教育学会で小川ゼミの学生が最優秀研究発表賞を受賞しました

2025年4月19日（土）、20日（日）の2日間にわたり、創価大学にてアフリカ教育学会第35回大会が開催されました。本大会では、20名以上の研究者による研究発表が行われました。小川ゼミからも、2名の修了生、3名の博士後期課程の学生が口頭発表を行いました。本大会では小川ゼミ生である博士後期課程の石井雄大さんが「最優秀研究発表賞」を受賞されました。石井さんの発表タイトルは「Women’s Intrahousehold Decision-Making on Household Expenditure for Primary Education in Malawi: Cases of Lilongwe, Blantyre, and Zomba Districts」で、今年度提出予定の博士論文を基に発表されました。

本大会は、大会実行委員長を務め、小川ゼミの修了生でもある創価大学の島田健太郎先生の開会の辞で始まりました。第35回大会特別セッション「人間の安全保障とアフリカ」においては、創価大学の堀江良一名誉教授による基調講演が行われ、神戸大学の小川啓一教授よりご講評を賜りました。また、上智大学の小松太郎教授、国際基督教大学の西村幹子教授が指定討論者として登壇され、活発な議論が交わされました。2日間にわたる大会は、アフリカ教育学会会長である国際基督教大学の西村幹子教授の講評・閉会の辞をもって盛会裏に終了しました。
