日本比較教育学会第62回大会（立命館大学）が開催されました

2026年7月3日（金）から5日（日）の 3日間にわたり、立命館大学 衣笠キャンパスにて日本比較教育学会第62回大会（Japan Comparative Education Society: JCES）が開催されました。1日目のラウンドテーブルに始まり、2日目には自由研究発表、公開シンポジウム、 3日目にはブックトークセッション、若手研究者交流会、自由研究発表、課題研究発表が行われました。小川ゼミからは、博士前期課程の学生5名、博士後期課程の学生 8名が自由研究発表にて研究成果を口頭発表し、今後の研究の発展につながる貴重なコメントや示唆に富むアドバイスをいただきました。

公開シンポジウムでは、「アジア・アフリカの<狡知・規知・統知>から近代学校教育を問い直す」と題したトークイベントが行われました。近代学校教育が前提とする「正統的知」を「狡知」「規知」「統知」という三つの視座から問い直し、制度の枠組みを超えた人間形成の可能性について多角的に議論されました。

大会2日目の自由研究発表では、小川啓一教授が教育と経済のセッションにおいて「Comparative Analysis of Education and Brain Drain in Polynesia and Micronesia: Evidence from Tonga and Kiribati」と題する研究成果を発表されました。本発表では、 小川啓一教授のこれまでのフィールド調査に基づく混合研究法による分析を通じて、賃金格差や教育達成度がトンガ及びキリバスにおける頭脳流出にどのような影響を及ぼしているのかについて報告されました。また、大会3日目のブックトークセッションでは、小川啓一教授の共編著書である『社会性と情動の学習: SEL と非認知スキルで未来を拓く教育』についても取り上げられ、書籍の内容紹介に加え、編集・執筆の過程での経験談や背景についても語られました。
