第29回アフリカ教育研究フォーラムで小川ゼミの学生が優秀研究発表賞を受賞しました。

2022年4月9日(土)、10(日)の2日間にわたり早稲田大学にて第29回アフリカ教育研究フォーラムが開催されました。本フォーラムでは、20名以上の研究者及び実務者の口頭発表が行われました。小川ゼミからも1名の修了生、1名の博士後期課程の学生、3名の博士前期課程の学生が口頭発表を行いました。このフォーラムで研究成果を発表した博士課程後期の八木歩さんが、「優秀研究発表賞」を受賞されました。八木さんの報告タイトルは「Understanding the Expenditure on Pre-primary Education in Kenya: A Demand Analysis using Engel Curve Framework」で、八木さんが2022年3月に修士学位を授与した際に提出した修士論文の内容を基にを発表しました。

フォーラムの1日目は、本大会の実行委員長であり早稲田大学の利根川佳子先生による開会の辞で始まりました。また、「障害のある子どもとインクルーシブ教育受容―国際比較からの検討―」と題して行われた特別セッションでは、早稲田大学の黒田一雄先生の基調講演の後、高知大学の是永かな子先生、早稲田大学の利根川佳子先生、筑波大学の川口純先生、帝京大学の大場麻代先生、熊本大学の古田弘子先生が講演され、その後、大阪大学の澤村信英先生、国士舘大学の本間貴子先生が討論者としてコメントを述べられました。1日目のフォーラム終了後には情報交換会があり、他大学の研究者と交流する貴重な機会を得ることができました。
